Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for investing in Saudi Arabia's economic cities and special economic zones.
Sectoral Alignment
The investment must align with the sectors designated for the special economic zone, or introduce a new sector that contributes to the Kingdom's development goals.
Financial Capacity
Providing proof of adequate capital, along with an investment plan and feasibility study demonstrating long-term sustainability.
Environmental Compliance
Conducting an environmental impact assessment and complying with national sustainability standards.
Job Creation & Knowledge Transfer
Demonstrating a contribution to knowledge transfer through job creation or the provision of training opportunities.
Technology & Innovation
Preference is given to businesses that introduce innovative technologies or advanced industries.
